Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicant should be a citizen of one of the following:
    • Australia
    • Brazil
    • Canada
    • China
    • Egypt
    • India
    • Indonesia
    • Mexico
    • Nepal
    • Pakistan
    • South Korea
    • Thailand
  • Applicant must return to the home country after 2 years once the award has been ended
  • Applicant must possess a bachelor degree from a recognized university
  • Applicants must have an unconditional offer to get admission to the postgraduate programme at a UK university by 14 July 2022
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience is required
  • British or duo British citizens are not eligible
  • Applicant must not hold refugee status to apply
  • Applicant must not be an employee, a former employee, or relative of an employee of Her Majesty’s Government, or the British Council, a sponsoring UK university, or a staff member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities.
  • Applicant must not be an employee, former employee, or relatives of an employee of Chevening Partner organisations
  • Must not be studied in the UK with a scholarship provided by UK Government.
