Scholarship Description:
New applicants who have filed for admission to a postgraduate Master’s, postgraduate Diploma, or postgraduate certificate program at the School of Engineering beginning in September 2022 are eligible for awards. Those in the workplace who want to enhance their careers into future senior-level jobs involving strategic delivery responsibilities and management can benefit from the LMP education programs.
Degree Level:
HCI Skills Gateway scholarships at the University of Edinburgh is available to undertake Postgraduate level programs the University of Edinburgh.

Scholarship Benefits:
The scholarship is tenable for two years and is worth £9,000 for a postgraduate Master’s, £6,000 for a postgraduate Diploma, and £3,000 for a postgraduate Certificate and will be applied towards the cost of tuition fees.

Eligibility Criteria:
This scholarship is for people who live or work in the South-East of Scotland, notably the council regions of East Lothian, Mid Lothian, West Lothian, City of Edinburgh, Fife, and Scottish Borders, and who are eligible to pay Home fees. The scholarship is open to citizens of the United Kingdom, the European Union, and other countries.
Applicants must have received acceptance to one of the following programs:
- MSc in Leading Major Programmes
- MSc Structural and Fire Safety Engineering
- MSc Sustainable Energy Systems
- MSc Urban Strategies and Design
- PG Dip Sustainable Energy Systems
- PG Cert in Leading Major Programmes
Application Procedure:
The scholarship will be awarded on the basis that the applicant must be working or have clear working aspirations in the Housing, Construction and Infrastructure sector (this criterion is principally relevant for the applicants for the MSc in leading Major Programmes).
Applications are particularly welcome from applicants of groups underrepresented in the construction industry (public and private sector), especially those identifying as women, BAME, with a disability, veteran of the armed forces, and/or with caring responsibilities.
